Knoxville Intersection Red Lights | The Law Offices of G Turner Howard III

Red means “Pay Attention!!”

A great many Tennesseans seem to disagree.

Recently, I wrote a blog about Tennessee ranking 1st in distracted driver fatalities in America. #1!!

I can believe it. Because a few days ago, on the front page of USA Today, an article declared Tennessee as having 2 of the top 10 red light intersections in all of America where its citizens run through red lights. And both of those intersections are in Knoxville. So, be very careful when you travel Western Avenue and Chapman Highway…2 of the top 10 worst red light intersections in America!

And both in Knoxville!!

I bet you’ve seen it for yourself. Several times per week!? I have, and it’s downright scary.

Tennessee has developed a disturbing habit of ranking tops in categories we’d prefer not to be. Like distracted driver deaths. Running red lights at intersections. Highest payouts to UT ex-coaches and administrators.

Are these the types of things we want to be known for?

Please be careful. And call us if you happen to be a victim of someone else’s negligence.

We’re here to help you.
